We opened Sadra to bring real Persian cooking to Vancouver's West End — the kind of food we grew up eating at home. Our koobideh is grilled fresh on skewers, our stews take hours on the stove, and the tahdig gets its crispy rice crust the old-fashioned way. Come in, sit down, we'll take care of you.

Meze Platter A spread to start — dips, herbs, and small bites to share while you figure out the rest of your order.

Hummus Ground chickpeas blended with tahini, lemon, and garlic, served with fresh bread for scooping.

Main Dishes

Fesenjan Stew Slow-cooked chicken in a thick sauce of crushed walnuts and pomegranate molasses — sweet, sour, and unlike anything else on the menu.

Lamb Shank A full shank braised until the meat falls off the bone, served over saffron rice.

Koobideh Seasoned ground beef and lamb mixed with grated onion, shaped onto wide skewers and charcoal grilled.

Double Leg Chicken Marinated chicken legs grilled over open flame — simple, honest, and worth ordering.

Tahdig The golden, crispy crust from the bottom of the Persian rice pot — the part everyone fights over at the table.

Desserts

Persian Ice Cream Bastani — saffron and rose water ice cream with pistachios and thin sheets of frozen cream folded in.
